About Yasutoshi Koga

Hi, I am Yasutoshi Koga, the sole face behind INAKAdventure.
I am a seasoned professional in travel and tourism for foreign visitors to Japan and a self-employed business owner who runs and operates INAKAdventure. Also, I am an avid traveler myself, having traveled in 40 countries overseas so far in my life.
I was born and raised in Yamaga, Kumamoto, and later lived in various countries abroad for about 15 years after I left Japan in my late twenties. I am now back in Kyushu where I enjoy sharing the beauty of inaka, the Japanese countryside, with my clients.
Through my many years of itinerant life, I experienced the diverse cultures of the world and deepened my understanding of different cultures. At the same time, this led to a renewed awareness of Japanese culture, especially the traditional one.

I am the two, not just either one only, and the two functions complement each other.
The constant, accumulating, first-hand experience and learning in the local field as a fieldworker make my function as an architect viable and have formed the foundations of INAKAdventure over the years. I strive to put them all in my services.
Professional human services are at the core of INAKAdventure, and all the services are always done by me, the same single professional, as opposed to the division of labor where disconnected individuals take segmented work.
