The 風土 tour is a tour to appreciate the local colors (the individuality of the areas). The radiant local 風土 and the people who make their lives there each day.

The tour takes you to the countryside where you can encounter beautiful scenery and the lifestyle of the people who live there.

You will experience the 風土 that the locals cherish, not simply as strangers or outsiders, but from the same viewpoints and senses of residents.

INAKAdventure specializes and is a local expert in creating and operating countryside tours of Kyushu, Japan for small private parties and individuals.

From pre-tour consultation, planning, and organization to putting the tour into action with in-destination local guiding, it provides holistic, personalized, seamless services in the course of travel experience journey.

The tour consists of two stages, Pre-tour and On-tour, and both are equally important.

Pre-tour

Your involvement in the tour creation process makes a great difference.

It works best if you contact me in the early stage of your travel experience journey and work together with me to co-create your tour.

The conception and planning of the entire local travel experience is crucial and will determine the satisfaction of the tour. It is quite different from listing the names of specific tourist spots, accommodations, restaurants, etc.

Planning and organization of foreign travels, especially their in-destination part, are a long and complex process when you have to carry it out on your own. With the help of a local travel professional/expert, you can reduce the amount of your work and develop a realistic, feasible plan.

I usually suggest the following to clients who plan to base themselves in a metropolis and repeat long-distance round trip day outs from there, i.e. multiple individual day tours.

To fully enjoy the countryside, staying overnight in the tour areas, i.e. a multi-day, road trip-style tour, makes more sense.

It will give you:

More time to enjoy the tour areas because you will not spend a long time each day making a round-trip by car between the metropolis (traffic-heavy city center) and the tour areas.
An opportunity to experience a stay at e.g. a Japanese Onsen Ryokan in a scenic countryside setting.
